Oh Baby! 15 weeks

Well, it's officially official...we're pregnant! We are so very excited to grow our family of 3 (of course that's E.J., Poonie (our pomeranian) and I!). So far pregnancy has been great for me, for the most part!

June 1 I decided to take a pregnancy test (I was 2 days late). Positive! I surprised E.J., the new daddy-to-be, and then we decided together to go tell our close family. It was a great day filled with a bunch of happiness! I set up my Dr appts and off we went...to see our little miracle on screen and what an amazing moment that was:) I felt really good for the first 7.5 weeks, got a little nauseous until about 9 weeks, along with extreme exhaustion, then starting feeling pretty decent again around 10 weeks (although the sleepiness has stuck around a bit). Since then it's been pretty easy but still with random changes etc. I have been emotional, annoyed and beyond excited. My tummy has gone from flat to a small pooch...that's quite hard I might add!

Thankfully around 14 weeks we shared our news with the world and that world included my bodyflow members! This was perfect timing as I then heard that some of them thought "She's getting a little bit of a tummy on her" and "Did she get her boobs done!?" Both which made me laugh!!! So, nope...I haven't eaten too many cheeseburgers nor have I had a boob job...I'm PREGNANT:)

Now I'm sporting my bump in class and even doing a FEW modified poses (because, of course, I feel like I can still do most everything I've always done...HELLO! ha!).

Well, as you see, time is already quickly flying by and today I'm 15 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I figured it was time I started to track my pregnancy! Hope you enjoy:)

  • How far along?: 15 weeks, 4 days

  • Baby is the size of a: Avocado

  • Total weight gain/loss: Well, I'm only weighing when I go to the Dr.'s office...last time at 13 weeks, 4 days I was up by 2.8lbs

  • The Bump: It's pretty little but it's definitely there. E.J. can tell and so can my mom & I:) It's little but it's cute and I love it!

  • Symptoms: I have the round ligament stretchy type symptoms. I can really tell I'm growing which is so amazing. I have headaches from time to time and I feel tired some but overall I'm feeling really good!

  • Food Cravings: None! I've heard they come later on so we'll see!

  • Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: I really only feel sick when I start to get hungry...Momma's gotta eat! :)

  • Sleep: I feel tired some afternoons, as I mentioned, but I have been going to sleep a little earlier than normal and try to get as much sleep as possible!

  • What I miss: I always thought I would miss wine more than anything once I got pregnant but no... Don't get me wrong, I miss it, especially when I'm around people drinking BUT I miss nothing more than advil liquidgels! Ahh...the headaches I have are no fun and taking tylenol is, well, crap.

  • Weddings Rings On or Off: On

  • Any Names Picked Out Yet: We're pretty close! The boys name was a gimme...the girls name we're still discussing but we pretty much know what it'll be.

  • Gender Prediction: Well, I think BOY and so does E.J.:) But we'll have to wait til 18 weeks to see...

  • Movement: Felt a few flutters around 12 weeks and during the last week or so I've just felt something different (rarely but I feel it!!). It's awesome:)

  • Maternity Clothes: Nope, still in my regular clothes.

  • Labor Signs: None.

  • Best Moment of the Week: Yesterday I know I felt Baby K move! It was kinda like that feeling when you're in a pool and you push your feet away from you quickly...that rush of water moving away from you...does that make sense? Cause that's how it felt!

  • What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Really feeling Baby K move, knowing what (s)he is and (hopefully) going to the beach in October:)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
