Oh baby...34 weeks!

Oh my gosh....34 weeks already and I'm knocking on 35 weeks' door!  This is nuts...how is this pregnancy going so quickly!?  I can't believe we'll be meeting this little guy so soon!  Week 34 has been a pretty busy week!  I guess I should have started out by saying MERRY CHRISTMAS!  We started out the week with Christmas Eve and, as always, E.J. and I finished up our Christmas shopping, which was fun:)  When we got home I finished wrapping all the gifts...OH and let me REWIND....at the end of week 33 my darling sweet husband helped me get our Christmas tree up!!!!  I was so incredibly excited!  I wanted the tree up so bad but we were so busy and working on the floors caused us to have to wait.  Well, he knew how important it was to me so he worked extra extra extra hard and got things done so we could put it up.  I think he's pretty special:)  So, Christmas day we enjoyed time together in the morning.  I made a delicious breakf...

Oh Baby...weeks 32 & 33!!

Oh my goodness have we been busy, hence, I am late again...I skipped week 32! Oopsy:)  So, I'm blogging two weeks again...32 & 33!  So, last week, goodness, I have to think back.  Ummm, I know we were busy during the week but come the weekend (when I typically update this blog) we started on the FLOOOOORING!  Friday night E.J. ripped up some carpet to do the moisture test!  Saturday after bodyflow it was ON...My dad stopped over and stayed for about 4 or 5 hours helping us, or really E.J., get started.  Later on that night, as well as Sunday, E.J.'s brother and a friend of ours came over...  Those boys worked until 2am and then on Sunday until around 1am!  I did help...I cleaned, provided the wood pieces, picked up, provided tools and food/drinks!  So, even though I didn't do a lot of the "manual" labor I still helped and was pooped!  All this week E.J. has been at it...trying to get the floor done!!!  A fellow coach came by one...

Oh Baby...30 & 31 weeks!!!

Well, hello!  I am a bad bad blogger!  I was so incredibly busy last week that I never got around to doing my 30 week blog!  So, here I am, 31 weeks:)  At least I'm updating now!  So, it's been a very busy few weeks and I don't anticipate things slowing down.  I'll start with week 30!  We had two work events...Wednesday we had a team dinner with the VP and SVP of cars.com which was awesome!  Thursday I had breakfast with the VP and a few of my team members (we're all in the runnings to hit President's Club!!).  Wednesday night we had a work event at No Mas and then the Falcon's game!  At the end of my 30th week I had two wonderful showers!  Saturday my step mom (Pat), sister (Windy), and cousin (Krystle) hosted a beautiful shower at my parents house!  Most of my dad's side of my family attented, as well as, some friends.  We had a great time and they certainly showered baby Emil, E.J. and I with many wonderful gifts! ...

Oh Baby....29 weeks!!

Holy smokes....29 weeks already and wrapping it up!  Next step...30! Can't believe how quickly time is flying by!  This week's been a pretty good week.  We've gotten some things done around the house that needed to get done, picked up our crib (yay!), had my sister over and she helped with a lot AND celebrated Thanksgiving!  Overall I'd say Success!  There is still a lot to do but things are happening and that's all that matters:)  E.J.'s been working so hard to get things done...I hope he knows how thankful I am for him...he's a good man.  I'm very lucky. Anyway, Thanksgiving was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing family since it had been a while!  It's a tradion that we go around the table and say what we're thankful for with multiple bottles of Cold Duck and under normal circumstances we get very loud and silly.  This year one of my cousins is also pregnant so the wild times were not quite as wild...  we did; however, ...

Oh Baby....28 weeks!

Oh what a week!  We got back from NJ on Monday night, after a 17 hour drive home.  Then I was busy catching up with work and home life.  This weekend we did go to the gun show and looked at some guns, which was fun.  After that I went to get us lunch and my brakes went out on my car though... E.J. had to come save the day and help me.  He drove the car home in manual so he could downshift and the brakes did work if you press them really hard but it's not in working condition now so we have to figure out how much that's going to cost and get it taken care of.  Just add that to our list of things to do.  Today I went to my mom's for Thanksgiving since they'll be out of town Thursday.  It was good to see everybody.  Little baby Emil was active so my mom, sister, nany and Aunt Jet were able to feel him moving around which was a lot of fun.  My sweet hubby stayed home to work on things around the house that he's trying ever so dilligentl...

Oh Baby....27 weeks!

And again...I'm behind!  It's Tuesday...  I should have updated this last Sunday, when I was still 27 weeks but that didn't happen.  Last week, on Wednesday, we went to NJ to handle E.J.'s aunt's passing.  We were there until Monday, which is when we drove home.  It was a very busy week and things are NOT going to slow down.  This is crunch time.  I do; however, have faith that we will get everything done.  Anyway, this sweet little baby boy is just growing and growing!!!  I am really starting to feel pregnant, physically.  My bump is growing, shirts are getting shorter and it's getting a little harder to breathe.  At first he was always so low and although I'm carrying him low somehow he's enjoying my upper bump...right under my rib cage.  He kicks, pokes, wiggles, flips, rolls and taps right up there...often!  It's funny.  I was telling E.J. I think he's found the unchartered territory and just exploring it ...

Oh Baby....26 weeks!

Well, 26 weeks already!  I think everybody calculates the trimesters differently but I believe this is pretty much my last week, and actually DAY, of my 2nd trimester!  I'm excited about that!  Just a little closer to meeting our sweet son.  Holy smokes...our SON.  It's weird to say that:)  Anyway, this week's been much like a roller coaster.  Wednesday we had a great doctor's appointment and E.J. was with me because I had to do my glucose test.  Thursday I received a call that I failed.  Yes, failed.  I was blown away!  So, now I get to do the 3 hour test tomorrow morning while I do my work conference calls...I have heard a lot of people fail the first one and then pass the 3 hour so I'm optimistic.  I've done a little research on gestational diabetes and I definitely don't want it!  We celebrated Halloween and that was fun! We always dress up and pass out candy.  This year we just didn't do all the decorations but i...

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Oh Baby, 24 weeks!

What a week!, Whew!  Kinda glad it's over (see more below).  I don't really have much to say...I wrote a lot in my responses below so I'll just leave you with a picture...E.J. took this of me a few days ago when I got home from work:)  Cheers to almost 25 weeks...just a couple weeks before we're in the 3rd trimester!!  Let's go:) •How far along?: 24 weeks, 6 days! •Baby is the size of a: Eggplant, 1.7lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: I can't tell you how much I love it and what it represents...I'm in love:) •Symptoms: Oh....can you say emotional roller coaster?  Emotionally unstable??  Goodness gracious...week 24 was a bit emotional for me.  I am not a crier and I cried, oh let's say, 3 or 4 times.  I am not allowing myself to watch sad movies, sad commercials, any of that junk, anymore!!  I can't handle it.  And please don't stress me out...I will tear up and after that it's ON!  Things have calm...

Oh BABY....23 weeks!

Whew, what a week!  It's gone by so quickly, probably because it's been a really busy one!  I had ride-a-longs all week for a sales blitz! It was a lot of fun, I enjoy my job so much and feel truly blessed that I work where I work!:)  We had a lot of baby movement this week which has been a lot of fun...I can actually feel him moving around right now while I'm typing:)  I got an app that allows me to hear the heartbeat so I've played with that a little, it's pretty neat!  Hubby and I are working around the house, which ALWAYS makes me feel good...I like getting things done!  Last weekend our yardsale went awesome! E.J. was a master salesman (I left for Bodyflow for 2 hours) and we only had 1, yes ONE, box of stuff to take to Goodwill, it was fantastic!!:) The weather is much cooler, I love it!  It's so much better...Fall is my favorite!  This time of year is so great, it's cool, we have football, the holidays are nearing and we get to spend time...

Oh baby.....22 weeks!

Happy Friday!  It's been a pretty good week and we've got a lot planned for the weekend so I figured I'd get my blog done:)  We've got a football game, yardsale, (bodyflow), purchasing new flooring, purchasing new shelving...and I think dinner for my dad's birthday (that was Tuesday)! Whew...I'm pooped just thinking about it:)  But looking forward to it for sure!  I like getting things done.  Okay, so obviously these are very very LARGE papaya's...but I posted the pic because I thought it was funny...OMG, what if baby Emil was already this big!?  I mean, I think he'll be a big baby because E.J. was and I'm confident this little one is going to be exactly was his name says...a JR!  I know he'll be just like E.J.:) Anyway, thought it was funny...baby Emil is the size of a papaya but a regular sized one....thankfully! lol:) •How far along?: 22 weeks, 4 days •Baby is the size of a: Papaya •Total weight gain/loss: Up 14lbs at 22+2 •The...

Oh Baby....21 weeks!!!

Ahhhh...Sunday:)  So excited I made it through this crazy week!  I've been super busy at work, which is good, so the week flew by but not without several late days and busy nights:)  Anyway, baby talk!  I had 3 people talk to me about my pregnancy during the week that didn't know me what-so-ever so do you know what that means?!  I'm officially over the "Is she pregnant or just fat?" stage!  I look pregnant! Woohoo!  Now I just have to adjust to this new growing bump and figure out what to wear, which is a daily chore...let me tell ya!:)  This weekend was pretty good.  Hubby and I went to the football game Friday night BUT were at the wrong school so opted for date night and ended up at Longhorns instead, which was nice.  Saturday I taught Bodyflow then E.J. and I went down to the Chili Cookoff at Stone Mtn. with Krystle and Josh.  We had a great time:)  We watched the GA game then ended up for dinner at Westside Bar, which wa...

Half Way Mark - CHECK:)

We're half way there!!!!! Oh my gosh! We're 20 weeks already!  I can't believe it...I'm so excited:)  It's hard to believe that in just 4 1/2 short months our little boy will be here.  It really blows my mind!  This past week flew by.  I was in Chicago for work Tuesday thru Friday, E.J. had football all week and today we had to pick my Dad & Other Mother up from the airport sooooo, we've been busy!  My time in Chicago was great.  I was there for work so I was able to catch up with some buddies, which was great:)  My baby bump was shown a lot of love, once they realized I was pregnant...which definitely showed ME love because I heard "Oh my gosh, you barely look pregnant" and "You look great pregnant" a lot. I mean seriously, what pregnant girl won't just eat that up?  HELLO!  Compliment my baby bump and I'll automatically like you! lol! Anyway, glad I found the time to get my stats done for this momentous week!  He...

Happy Sunday! Another week down and 1 day until we are at the half way mark!!  I'm excited to be at this point:)  This week's been a busy one and I've been sick with allergies or sinus crap soooo, that's been great.  This weekend we've been busy getting things done around the house and the fun will continue today.  I feel really good when the house is clean so last night, although tired, I was quite pleased at our progress:)  Well, here's the stats for this week!  Enjoy:) •How far along?: 19 weeks, 6 days...1 day til we're half way! •Baby is the size of a: Large Mango, 6 1/2 inches •Total weight gain/loss: Up 6lbs at the Dr. at 18 weeks, 2 days. •The Bump: It's growing:) •Symptoms: This week I've felt pretty good. Wow...it's Saturday and it's not just ANY Saturday, it's the first UGA game of the season! Go Dawgs:) Fall is officially here! Wooohooooo!  Now it's time to change my wreath:) Anyway, this week has flown by.  I was busy at work, launched a new release for Bodyflow and E.J.'s highschool boys had their first game last night AND WON! Oh Baby...16 weeks!

Happy Sunday! This week certainly has flown by and I am starting to think about all the stuff that really does need to get done, and soon!!! I've started cleaning out the guest bedroom, since that will become the baby's room, but it doesn't even look like there's been any progress made. Talk about a FULL room! I'm hoping we can sell the furniture in there but I still need to get pics to put online, maybe that will happen by next weekend. We'll see. Other than that things are going well and I'm somewhat happy that time's flown by because as of today we only have 10 days until we find out what our little miracle is! I can't wait!! I feel like once I know what the baby is I will really get on top of my to do list:) Baby Kukoly is the size of a turnip now...Thankfully a friend of mine isn't that much further along than me and had posted what a turnip looked like a couple weeks ago:) How far along?: 16 weeks, 6 days Baby is the size of a: Turnip, se...

Oh Baby! 15 weeks

Well, it's officially official...we're pregnant! We are so very excited to grow our family of 3 (of course that's E.J., Poonie (our pomeranian) and I!). So far pregnancy has been great for me, for the most part! June 1 I decided to take a pregnancy test (I was 2 days late). Positive! I surprised E.J., the new daddy-to-be, and then we decided together to go tell our close family. It was a great day filled with a bunch of happiness! I set up my Dr appts and off we went...to see our little miracle on screen and what an amazing moment that was:) I felt really good for the first 7.5 weeks, got a little nauseous until about 9 weeks, along with extreme exhaustion, then starting feeling pretty decent again around 10 weeks (although the sleepiness has stuck around a bit). Since then it's been pretty easy but still with random changes etc. I have been emotional, annoyed and beyond excited. My tummy has gone from flat to a small pooch...that's quite hard I might add! Thankfull...
