27 weeks with Baby #2!

Well, Happy 3rd Trimester!  I can't believe we only have about 3 months to go...a little less actually but who's counting?! :)  Anyway, things have been busy as can be!  We ended up having a major problem with our house in NJ and I went up for a couple days last week to take care of some of the mess.  E.J.'s going up soon and so is his brother.  Good news is...we've decided to sell it and hopefully will by the summer or end of the summer.  Once we sell that house we can move and I've wanted to move for quite a while now.  We really need more space in our current house.  We've lived here for 12 years!  It's closing in on us and now that we'll have 2 kids we really need the extra room:)

Other than that....little Emil is growing up so much!  He's so much fun....walking/running around like a little wild man.  It's such a fun time having him around and watching him grow:)  E.J.'s soccer season is starting to slow down a little bit, I think it ends in a couple weeks.  Work for me was really busy in March b/c I had some "busy work" that I ended up having to do for most of the month.  But overall things are good right now. Anyway, here's my stats....

•How far along?: 27 weeks, 3 days

•Baby is the size of a: Ear of corn, 2.2lbs, 15in.

•Total weight gain/loss: 19lbs.  Ugh.  I'm 2lbs more than I was with Emil at this point.  That was at 26+4....  I know I've been eating really bad though and haven't been going to the gym so I've made a change to eating better (for the most part) and have tried to start working out a little more.  I am still planning to stay around 25lbs...what I put on must be taken off...the less the better!

•The Bump: I feel like I'm already at maximum capacity!  I know I'm not THAT big but OMG, everything is shifted up and I can't breathe...I feel like I'm stretching so much.  I was measuring slightly big at my last Dr's appt but I measured big the entire time with Emil so that didn't worry me much.

•Symptoms: Tired...always.  But I think that's partially b/c little E's been teething and sleeping like crap, which means I have been too.  But hopefully he'll sleep better tonight and I can get some sleep.  What else...Huge?!  Maybe a little swollen?

•Food Cravings: I was craving a big, fat, juicy cheeseburger. And since I have been pretty good the last week I decided to cave and made two tonight and had one... It was so good.  It was dripping down my hands and I ate every single bite.  SO GOOD.

•Anything Making Me Queasy: Nope. Thank God.

•Sleep: Well, it's been crap for the past week+.  I'm tired...and uncomfortable.  I need sleep...hoping tonight I'll get some much needed rest.

•What I miss: Being skinny....feeling skinny....looking skinny. (AMEN....keeping this from my previous post.)

•Weddings Rings: On

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: I still like Elias.  E.J. doesn't really...  He likes Armie.  I don't.  We are not sure yet.  I'm calling him "Baby No-name."

•Gender Prediction: B-O-Y!

•Labor Signs: No, but I do get hella braxton hicks contractions.  Guess I could've said that as a symptom.

•Movement: Yep...I love it.  This is my favorite part about being pregnant:)

•Maternity Clothes: Pants yes, and pretty much all my tops NEED to be maternity.  I just had to order some more stuff.

•Best Moment of the Week:  Well, it's only Wednesday and I'm really tired so I can only think of recent stuff.  Tonight at E.J.'s soccer game little E laid his sweet little head on me for a while and just stayed there...it was sweet.  I love him:)

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Selling the house in NJ, having a good month at work, cleaning up some stuff around the house....  to name a few things.

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
