Oh baby.....22 weeks!

Happy Friday!  It's been a pretty good week and we've got a lot planned for the weekend so I figured I'd get my blog done:)  We've got a football game, yardsale, (bodyflow), purchasing new flooring, purchasing new shelving...and I think dinner for my dad's birthday (that was Tuesday)! Whew...I'm pooped just thinking about it:)  But looking forward to it for sure!  I like getting things done.

Okay, so obviously these are very very LARGE papaya's...but I posted the pic because I thought it was funny...OMG, what if baby Emil was already this big!?  I mean, I think he'll be a big baby because E.J. was and I'm confident this little one is going to be exactly was his name says...a JR!  I know he'll be just like E.J.:)

Anyway, thought it was funny...baby Emil is the size of a papaya but a regular sized one....thankfully! lol:)

•How far along?: 22 weeks, 4 days

•Baby is the size of a: Papaya

•Total weight gain/loss: Up 14lbs at 22+2

•The Bump: I stare at it every day!  E.J. even said "I'm not used to you having a belly."  It's definitely growing!:)

•Symptoms: No major symptoms this week...just the normal "sorta" sleepy feeling every now and then.

•Food Cravings: None yet, I'm still waiting:)

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Thankfully no!

•Sleep: This week I've done some tossing and turning...

•What I miss: Hmmm...I think I'm pretty satisfied right now.

•Weddings Rings On or Off: On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Movement: Yep!  I feel him usually every day in my belly moving around and can feel kicks with my hands from time to time.  It's funny b/c E.J. has an app on his ipad that is a piano and he plays tons of different songs. When he plays a few certain songs baby Emil always kicks me!  I think he likes it:)  I told E.J. today that I could picture us in the baby's room, me rocking Emil and E.J. playing that piano to get him to go to sleep...he smiled and said "I can see that;)"

•Maternity Clothes: Got some new works pants from ON and they're super cute and fit great so I'm pumped.  I'm pretty much always in my ON jeans if we go out....they're way more comfy than wearing my regular jeans with a belly band.  Tops are still good as long as they are longer and not super tight.

•Best Moment of the Week: I think just sitting next to E.J. while he played that little piano and feeling baby Emil move and kick...it's like a little family moment... :)

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Saturday we're having a yard sale and I'm getting everything out of the house that needs to GO...it's either being sold or shipped to Goodwill!  Then we're boxing some stuff up and sticking it in the attic.  Sunday, as long as things don't change, we're going to get the rest of E.J.'s office done and get some shelves for him!  Some time during the weekend we are going to buy/order the new flooring for our living room.  So, busy weekend but it's the weekend we've been waiting for so we can start prepping for baby Emil:)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
