Oh BABY....23 weeks!

Whew, what a week!  It's gone by so quickly, probably because it's been a really busy one!  I had ride-a-longs all week for a sales blitz! It was a lot of fun, I enjoy my job so much and feel truly blessed that I work where I work!:)  We had a lot of baby movement this week which has been a lot of fun...I can actually feel him moving around right now while I'm typing:)  I got an app that allows me to hear the heartbeat so I've played with that a little, it's pretty neat!  Hubby and I are working around the house, which ALWAYS makes me feel good...I like getting things done!  Last weekend our yardsale went awesome! E.J. was a master salesman (I left for Bodyflow for 2 hours) and we only had 1, yes ONE, box of stuff to take to Goodwill, it was fantastic!!:)

The weather is much cooler, I love it!  It's so much better...Fall is my favorite!  This time of year is so great, it's cool, we have football, the holidays are nearing and we get to spend time with family:)  Anyway, baby baby baby!  I feel like time's flying by!  I'm 24 weeks tomorrow, I almost forgot to write my blog...yikes!  I was thinking earlier this week how we really only have about 3.5 months left until we meet our son! Oh, and E.J. bought a couple things for the baby this week and when he was talking about them he said "our son" and that just melted my heart...Our family is growing!!  I am so excited:)  This week I'm posting my sweet little Poonie as the main picture.  She's an absolute joy and we love her to pieces...Look how cute she is:)

Okay, well, here are the updates for this week!  Enjoy:)

•How far along?: 23 weeks, 6 days!

•Baby is the size of a: Ear of Corn (1.5lbs!!!:)

•Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs.

•The Bump: It's getting a lot of attention for sure.

•Symptoms: I've felt really good all week...my only symptom is that I have a wiggly little baby boy in my belly that reminds me I'm pregnant...I love it:)

•Food Cravings: Well, maybe one... Last night at 11 a good friend (that lives in the neighborhood over) was having a bonfire and sent us a text that she was sad we didn't make it over...Then she told me they had s'mores left...I was half asleep on the couch. I went over and had 3 marshmallows and a snack sized hershey bar. Mmmm.

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Nothing this past week, thankfully!

•Sleep: I'm at another point where I'm just trying to get comfortable!  I sleep decent but could sleep better...I remember how well I slept during the first trimester! Ha! But I wouldn't want to go back:)

•What I miss: I have been told I'm not allowed to lift heavy stuff (per a midwife that bought our guest bedroom furniture) and now E.J....it's nice b/c I can just get people to do it for me BUT I am the kind of person that likes to get things done and QUICK so now I just have to wait for others to help.  I guess I kinda miss just being able to do everything I want when I want but it's not that big a deal:)

•Weddings Rings On or Off: On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Movement: Yep:)  And I love it!!  He loves the magic piano when E.J. plays it...he kicks and kicks:)

•Maternity Clothes: I am in maternity pants and I have some tops but I can wear a lot of my regular tops still so that's what I wear for work...maternity pants & a cute regular top, the bumps not too big yet:)

•Best Moment of the Week: Well, I've had a great week.  Work was great and home life was great:)  E.J. told me several times just how pretty I am and how I'm glowing, it just makes me feel really good!  I loved sitting on the couch with both hands on my bump while E.J. played the magic piano and I got to feel Baby Emil moving:) (That's definitely my fave moment!)

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Still just getting things done around here!  E.J. bought his office stuff this week so his office is getting taken care of.  The guest bedroom is in the works and I just have to get the old stuff in boxes and organized.  I've decided to let E.J. and my dad just decide when to do the flooring...trying to set dates and give deadlines didn't work too well so they know I want it done so just whenever they can do it is fine.

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
