Oh Baby...30 & 31 weeks!!!

Well, hello!  I am a bad bad blogger!  I was so incredibly busy last week that I never got around to doing my 30 week blog!  So, here I am, 31 weeks:)  At least I'm updating now!  So, it's been a very busy few weeks and I don't anticipate things slowing down.  I'll start with week 30!  We had two work events...Wednesday we had a team dinner with the VP and SVP of cars.com which was awesome!  Thursday I had breakfast with the VP and a few of my team members (we're all in the runnings to hit President's Club!!).  Wednesday night we had a work event at No Mas and then the Falcon's game!  At the end of my 30th week I had two wonderful showers!  Saturday my step mom (Pat), sister (Windy), and cousin (Krystle) hosted a beautiful shower at my parents house!  Most of my dad's side of my family attented, as well as, some friends.  We had a great time and they certainly showered baby Emil, E.J. and I with many wonderful gifts!  We had a blast!  Sunday my girlfriends (Apryl, Suzanne, Katianne and Kristin) hosted another beautiful shower at Apryl's parents house.  We had such a great time...the food was delicious!  They picked all my favorite things and served them:)  Yummmmy!  This shower most of my girlfriends attented, as well as, my mom, Nany and sister (Autumn), which was my mom and Nany's 2nd shower of the weekend since they attented both:)  Again, we were showered with many fantastic gifts!  I felt, and still feel, so blessed:)

After that I hit the 31 week mark and stayed very busy!  I have had a lot going on for work and around the house.  We've done some more projects, which is good...but we have a long way to go! :)  We had a Dr's appt and checked on baby Emil! Everything is going well...I'm measuring a little big (which has been a trend for Baby Emil) so this little munchkin will probably be around 8-8.5lbs when he makes his grand entrance:)  E.J. bought a bookshelf and dresser for Emil's room, which made me VERY happy:)  He also bought me lots of goodies...he's such a sweetheart and going to be such a great daddy!  Today (Saturday) I taught Bodyflow then went and had coffee with a few of my friends.  I received a really neat diaper wreath to hang on the hospital door when I'm there...it's so cute!  What a neat little gift idea:)

Anyway, that's a lot of what we've been doing...so here's my new stats:) And a pic of me and my sweet girlfriends from the shower they hosted on Sunday...

•How far along?: 31 weeks, 5 days

•Baby is the size of a: 19in., 3.9lbs

•Total weight gain/loss: 21lbs as of 31+4

•The Bump: Well, there is definitely no hiding this round baby bump!

•Symptoms: This baby is growing so much so I'm really feeling him a bunch, my bump feels like it's up in my lungs, my back is starting to ache, my lungs are feeling a bit colapsed so it's harder to breathe and, what else....

•Food Cravings: NONE. Not a single one.

•Anything Making Me Queasy: I had an oatmeal cereal that was very sweet a couple days in a row and that made me feel icky...I think b/c the sugar.  Needless to say I've stopped eating it!

•Sleep: Because when I lay down it's harder to breathe I have to sleep a specific way.  It's interesting.

•What I miss: Probably just having my regular body and being "normal."  I enjoy more than anything feeling this sweet little one kicking and moving around but other than that I kinda just miss being "me."

•Weddings Rings On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Labor Signs: None, thank goodness. We're not quite ready for baby Emil:)

•Movement: Love Love Love!  Yes, I feel him often.  I read somewhere that babies around this stage sleep for about 40 minutes then they're awake for a bit...I believe that because I feel him throughout the day:)  It's amazing.  I can watch my bump move which is so crazy!

•Maternity Clothes: Yep, even my regular "LONG" tank tops are not working for me very much anymore!  This bump is GROWING!  Katianne bought me a bunch of pretty tops and a pair of leggins for one of my showers...it was so great because I really need them!  I also bought myself some more stuff from Old Navy!

•Best Moment of the Week: Every week it will now be feeling baby Emil move... Other than that, it was my showers during week 30 and spending time with my friends and family:)  During week 31 it was probably my Dr's appt with my hubby!  Getting to hear baby Emil is doing well and hearing his heartbeat always makes my day!

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Flooring, Baby's room, Christmas Tree.  The projects that are a process! :)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
