Oh baby...34 weeks!

Oh my gosh....34 weeks already and I'm knocking on 35 weeks' door!  This is nuts...how is this pregnancy going so quickly!?  I can't believe we'll be meeting this little guy so soon!  Week 34 has been a pretty busy week!  I guess I should have started out by saying MERRY CHRISTMAS!  We started out the week with Christmas Eve and, as always, E.J. and I finished up our Christmas shopping, which was fun:)  When we got home I finished wrapping all the gifts...OH and let me REWIND....at the end of week 33 my darling sweet husband helped me get our Christmas tree up!!!!  I was so incredibly excited!  I wanted the tree up so bad but we were so busy and working on the floors caused us to have to wait.  Well, he knew how important it was to me so he worked extra extra extra hard and got things done so we could put it up.  I think he's pretty special:)  So, Christmas day we enjoyed time together in the morning.  I made a delicious breakfast caserole that cooked overnight in the crockpot (best idea ever!) and then we started opening up gifts!  E.J. got me a diaper bag, a JUICER (so excited), a baby food maker/bottle warmer (so excited!!), super cool wine bottle opener, new pumas (super cute!), puree recipe book and lots of other goodies!  I must have been an extra good girl this year:)  I got E.J. some new adidas, USA soccer jersey, shirt & zipper sweatshirt, Cass shirts, a dremel and lots of other goodies!  We had a GREAT Christmas.  Then we headed over to my grandma's in Conyers to eat with family which was a good time, as always.  Afterwards we stopped by E.J.'s family's house then dropped by my dads, getting us home around 11:30!  The rest of the week we were busy with work and projects around the house!  We did have a Dr's appt on Friday and that went well.  Over the weekend we stayed busy with projects...or really E.J. did!  I'm loosing energy and motivation at this point so I get up to help and then sit back down...  He's been so sweet though, tells me he doesn't need help.  God love him he's a good man...and he works so hard for me and our little family.  He told me today the only thing he wanted was for me to be happy....  Melts my heart.

Anyway, here's a quick pic to start you off before the updates!  Enjoy & Have a Happy & Safe New Year:):):)

•How far along?: 34 weeks, 6 days

•Baby is the size of a: 19-22in., 5.5lbs

•Total weight gain/loss: 21lbs as of 34+4 (no weight gain since my 31 week appt...Impressive since I ate a TON of chocolate!!!!)

•Symptoms: My BACK HURTS...oh my gosh...all the time!  I've become one with baths and epsom salt!  My energy level pretty much comes and goes so if it's coming then I'm hustling to get things done b/c I KNOW it will not be around for long.  I pee at least 3 times a night, which has been pretty consistent for basically my entire pregnancy.  I get hella braxton hicks contractions, which I strongly dislike!

•Food Cravings: This week it's still just been sweets and milk.  But I don't know if it's a craving...I see it and I want it.  I don't just WANT it...  Weird?!

•Anything Making Me Queasy: Nope. Yay!

•Sleep: I have a new pillow that I use for my belly & legs so that I'm more comfortable.  I'm not at 100% but I'm definitely feeling/sleeping better than I was.

•What I miss: Nothing!  I am 10000% happy and satisfied.

•Weddings Rings On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Labor Signs: None, thank goodness. We're not quite ready for baby Emil:)

•Movement: I love it.  I watch him wiggle around and it's so crazy!  I just can't even begin to tell you how amazing it is....

•Maternity Clothes: Yes.  Daily!

•Best Moment of the Week: Christmas was great, everybody loved seeing the belly:)  And just spending time with E.J.  He's been working so hard around the house and he really is trying his best to take care of me....I think he must like me:)

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Spending some more time with my hubby....hopefully we can squeeze in a couple of date nights or dinners before this little guy comes:)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
