Half Way Mark - CHECK:)

We're half way there!!!!!

Oh my gosh! We're 20 weeks already!  I can't believe it...I'm so excited:)  It's hard to believe that in just 4 1/2 short months our little boy will be here.  It really blows my mind!  This past week flew by.  I was in Chicago for work Tuesday thru Friday, E.J. had football all week and today we had to pick my Dad & Other Mother up from the airport sooooo, we've been busy!  My time in Chicago was great.  I was there for work so I was able to catch up with some buddies, which was great:)  My baby bump was shown a lot of love, once they realized I was pregnant...which definitely showed ME love because I heard "Oh my gosh, you barely look pregnant" and "You look great pregnant" a lot. I mean seriously, what pregnant girl won't just eat that up?  HELLO!  Compliment my baby bump and I'll automatically like you! lol!

Anyway, glad I found the time to get my stats done for this momentous week!  Here goes:)

•How far along?: 20 weeks, 5 days

•Baby is the size of a: Banana! 7 inches

•Total weight gain/loss: Up 6lbs at the Dr. at 18 weeks, 2 days.

•The Bump: It's round, like a little basketball!

•Symptoms: I really feel good.  I don't feel pregnant other than the fact that my body is changing.

•Food Cravings: None yet, I'm still waiting:)

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: This week I haven't felt queasy at all, thank God!

•Sleep: I slept pretty good this week even though I was out of town most of it! Last night I slept like a baby...in my own bed, with my husband...I was in Heaven.

•What I miss: Well, this week I missed wine because I was out with my coworkers a lot and they all drank...soooooo, a glass of wine would have been nice but again, I declined.  Other than that, I don't think I miss much, maybe fitting into my bras comfortably.  Sorry if tmi but this is MY blog and I'm doing it so I'll remember my pregnancy details:)

•Weddings Rings On or Off: On! (Well, at the moment off b/c I just lotioned up...gotta go grab it off the bathroom counter!) :)

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Movement: I am so almost 100% I'm feeling this munchkin.  It's most common at night when I actually lay down or sit back and RELAX.

•Maternity Clothes: I'm in a middle spot right now with that.  I wear my ON jeans and I wore a pair of maternity leggins with a maternity top Friday.  Got lots of compliments.  I have plenty of room to grow into the top which is great...

•Best Moment of the Week: Just hearing from people, especially from my hubby, that I'm carrying the baby well and look good.  That might sound silly but when you spend an extended period of time in the morning trying to figure out what to wear and squeeze into old jeans or tops it really makes you feel good when people compliment you.

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: GETTING MY HOUSE IN ORDER.  Can't express enough.

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
