Oh Baby....21 weeks!!!

Ahhhh...Sunday:)  So excited I made it through this crazy week!  I've been super busy at work, which is good, so the week flew by but not without several late days and busy nights:)  Anyway, baby talk!  I had 3 people talk to me about my pregnancy during the week that didn't know me what-so-ever so do you know what that means?!  I'm officially over the "Is she pregnant or just fat?" stage!  I look pregnant! Woohoo!  Now I just have to adjust to this new growing bump and figure out what to wear, which is a daily chore...let me tell ya!:)

This weekend was pretty good.  Hubby and I went to the football game Friday night BUT were at the wrong school so opted for date night and ended up at Longhorns instead, which was nice.  Saturday I taught Bodyflow then E.J. and I went down to the Chili Cookoff at Stone Mtn. with Krystle and Josh.  We had a great time:)  We watched the GA game then ended up for dinner at Westside Bar, which was delicious! Today we're being lazy, which was much needed!!  All in all, it's been a great week!  And here's a belly pic... Enjoy:)

•How far along?: 21 weeks, 6 days

•Baby is the size of a: Carrott, 8inches (1lb!!!:)

•Total weight gain/loss: Up 6lbs at the Dr. at 18 weeks, 2 days.

•The Bump: It's round and growing!

•Symptoms: I really feel good for the most part. Yesterday I did get worn out from being out all day and on my feet.

•Food Cravings: None yet, I'm still waiting:)

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Not sure why but last night I felt a little queasy after dinner and on our way home...I think I really was just worn completely out though.

•Sleep: I slept pretty good all week and just got the normal amount of hours...since my energy has come back I can stay up a little late again and not feel dead the next day.

•What I miss: I bought some cheese from the Amish for E.J. while I was in Chicago and then realized I couldn't eat it (or shouldn't) because I wasn't sure if it was pasturized...  I'd have liked to have eaten it!  So, I miss the freedom of not worrying about what I eat.

•Weddings Rings On or Off: On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Movement: YESSSSSSSSSSSS!  Okay, sorry that was a little of my excitement pouring into the computer:)  (see best moment of the week below)

•Maternity Clothes: I can still wear most of my tops but bottoms are getting to be a challenge.  I just bought a pair or work pants from ON online and cross my fingers they're cute and fit...we'll see.

•Best Moment of the Week: Thursday night I sat back on the couch next to E.J. with my hand on my belly and felt baby Emil kick!!!  I quickly had E.J. put his hand on my bump and he felt him too:)  It was AWESOME!  Also, at the Chili Cookoff we finished off in the tent where we could watch the GA game.  I was sitting down and E.J., Krystle and Josh were up chatting:)  Later on in the night E.J. told me that I looked beautiful when I was sitting in that chair and that I was glowing.  It really made my night...He said he thinks that all the time...just doesn't always say it:)  So sweet....

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: GETTING MY HOUSE IN ORDER. Can't express enough.  (SAME as last week:))  AND feeling this little future kicker kick me again!!  That was so awesome:)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
