Oh Baby...17 weeks!

Wow...it's Saturday and it's not just ANY Saturday, it's the first UGA game of the season! Go Dawgs:) Fall is officially here! Wooohooooo!  Now it's time to change my wreath:)

Anyway, this week has flown by.  I was busy at work, launched a new release for Bodyflow and E.J.'s highschool boys had their first game last night AND WON! Go Colonels:)  So, now I'm having a little down time and figured before I turn 18 weeks (on Monday) I would update my blog...sooooo, here goes!

•How far along?: 17 weeks, 5 days

•Baby is the size of a: Sweet Potato (LOVE THIS ONE!)

•Total weight gain/loss: Still refusing to weigh at home....I visit the Doc this coming Wed so we'll see where I'm at then!  (As of 13+4 I was up 2.8lbs)

•The Bump: Oh, it's growing!  I went through a period where it was there one day and not the next. Well, that period is over and I have a BABY BUMP!  It's amazing.  We're going to start doing belly pics soon so you'll have to be on the look out:)

•Symptoms: I have been feeling great and almost totally normal for the past week!  Strange but nice...  I feel sleepy/tired though but that I can deal with.  So, overall I'm at 99%!

•Food Cravings: Still no particular craving. I did joke with my girlfriend, hoping she was pregnant (and she's not, boo!) that we could have Taco Bell and Ice Cream dates if she was! She thought I was gross...ha!

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Well, I ate Krystal's last night...that made me sick feeling but I think I kinda brought that one upon myself...E.J. felt sick too.  Other than that, only feel sick when I'm hungry so let's just say I try not to go hungry:)  Small little meals....every 2 hours....

•Sleep: Well, I sleep okay and I'm in the process of trying to transition to sleeping most of the time on my sides but I still wake up on my back a lot.  I've heard it really isn't bad to sleep on your back, just preferred that you sleep on your side (left).

•What I miss: Nothing today...I feel good, all week has been good.  I'd say I miss having a cocktail since it is the first day for college football but in reality pregnant or not I probably wouldn't have had anything today.  We're just not big drinkers, especially when we're alone.  Now put me in a crowd...I'll miss it! lol:)

•Weddings Rings On or Off: On

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: Same as before...YES boy, SORTA girl

•Gender Prediction: We are SOOOOOO close to finding out...4 days! 4 days! 4 days!  We'll probably pass out if they say girl.  We think it's a boy!

•Movement: Still not sure what to really look for.  I've thought I may have felt something but who knows.

•Maternity Clothes: Okay, so here's the deal.  I'm in my regular clothes still BUT did buy some maternity clothes from Old Navy yesterday because they had a 30% sale! Yay! Got a pair of jeans, leggins & 2 shirts.

•Labor Signs: None.

•Best Moment of the Week: Last night at E.J.'s football game.  After the team won we were on the field and E.J. was just smiling big (obviously) and told me I was definitely showing and he could even tell from a distance.  Then he was telling me to be careful not to get bumped into...He was watching out for his little momma:)  So sweet!

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: That's pretty obvious...4 days! 4 days! 4 days!!!!!!!!!

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
