Oh Baby....29 weeks!!

Holy smokes....29 weeks already and wrapping it up!  Next step...30! Can't believe how quickly time is flying by!  This week's been a pretty good week.  We've gotten some things done around the house that needed to get done, picked up our crib (yay!), had my sister over and she helped with a lot AND celebrated Thanksgiving!  Overall I'd say Success!  There is still a lot to do but things are happening and that's all that matters:)  E.J.'s been working so hard to get things done...I hope he knows how thankful I am for him...he's a good man.  I'm very lucky.
Anyway, Thanksgiving was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing family since it had been a while!  It's a tradion that we go around the table and say what we're thankful for with multiple bottles of Cold Duck and under normal circumstances we get very loud and silly.  This year one of my cousins is also pregnant so the wild times were not quite as wild...  we did; however, go around the table once and say what we were thankful for, and my sweet aunt bought a bottle of sparkling grape juice so I had that instead of Cold Duck!
When Autumn, my sweet littlest sister, came over she was a big help!  We got things straightened up and moved around some in the baby's room and around the house.  She also helped me cook dinner and we had a little Thanksgiving dinner that night for her, E.J. and myself...it was fun:)  I'm looking forward to her coming back over:)  Alright, well, here's my pic of the week...  E.J. and I from Thanksgiving:)  Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did.

•How far along?: 29 weeks, 6 days

•Baby is the size of a: 17 inches, 3.1lbs

•Total weight gain/loss: 18lbs as of 28 weeks, 4 days.

•The Bump: It's round, growing and getting a lot of attention.

•Symptoms: I'm forgetful mostly this week...I'm hoping my brain does come back at some point because that'd be GREAT!  I am getting more tired than I have been...I think fatigue is coming back.

•Food Cravings: NONE. Not a single one.

•Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: Nope.

•Sleep: Yes, please!  My energy has been feeling slightly depleated...

•What I miss: Having a brain, memory and just feeling like "myself."

•Weddings Rings On!

•Any Names Picked Out Yet: We have a Jr!

•Gender Prediction: Baby Kukoly is a BOY!

•Labor Signs: None, thank goodness. We're not quite ready for baby Emil:)

•Movement: I love it!  He has busy days and chill days.  Most of the time if I lay down after standing up he'll move around but lately he's been moving around up higher even when I'm standing.  Autumn got to feel him a few times when she was over.

•Maternity Clothes: Now I'm starting to understand why women love them...mainly for me because all my regular shirts are shrinking...they are not nearly as long as they once were! :)

•Best Moment of the Week: Every week it will now be feeling baby Emil move... Other than that, it was hanging out with the fam and spending time with them:)

•What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Putting up our Christmas tree, E.J. doing the flooring and my BABY SHOWERS that are this coming up weekend!!!!  I can't wait:)

25 weeks...Oh Baby:)

Well, I must admit I've gotten really bad at doing my blog!  I've forgotten the last two weeks...so I'm posting a day late but hey...I'm posting!  So, happy 25 week mark!  This past week was a really good week!  We worked around the house, got our new flooring in (YAY!), carved pumpkins and I had a good work week, which just topped everything off!  I worked in the baby's room and have a bunch of stuff boxed up now and ready for storage, things are coming along!  Happy Halloween!!!:)  It's our first year not going crazy with decorations but we're still going to dress up, scare kids & pass out candy:)  Should be a good time! •How far along?: 25 weeks! •Baby is the size of a: Large Eggplant, 2lbs •Total weight gain/loss: 14lbs. at 22+2 •The Bump: Everybody loves it...they're drawn to it:) •Symptoms: Thankfully this week my only symptom has been my bump and the movement inside it:)  My emotions have simmered down...Praise ...

Something worth Celebrating!

Well, as it happens to most families with young children that start school, our family got the sick bug. We've all had it but Ritter is the OG, the one who contacted the cold and shared it with the rest of us. I started feeling bad Friday and am finally feeling better, almost like my normal self, TODAY! So, I celebrate! Seriously, why not? I am a working mom! I'm running an entire household and I've been sick! That is NO FUN! Like, none. And, sidenote, I think mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick. Just sayin'. I celebrate because I have felt terrible the last few days (and, as most moms do, felt terrible that I felt terrible- which is annoying- why do we do that?!) and NOW- FINALLY- I'm feeling better! Good enough to refocus on my schedule, goals and recognize all that I can accomplish! Yes! I celebrate.  But why do I share this with you? Well, because I feel like, as women, we mostly are getting on to ourselves, putting ourselves down, feeling guilt...

Simply happy.....

Over the past year we have worked really hard to make things happen.... I am feeling so accomplished at this time because things are really starting to pan out. This is a great feeling... Not only that but I have really grown to realize over the past few years how incredibly blessed I am. I have always been a very thankful person but as I grow older I become even more thankful... I have an absolutely amazing husband. He loves me so much....I know that. I'm really lucky to have him in my life... I know he will always stand beside me and love me with all his heart. I have a wonderful family... there are so many people in my family and not many people can say that. They are all really great people and I love the close bond that we share... I am so blessed...yet again. Finally, I have great friends. They are loving, caring people. Although I have been extremely busy this summer and haven't been able to spend as much time with them we still are close and I love them al...
